IZANAMI NO-MIKOTO ~ Rules over Yomi as its Queen

Izanami is a Japanese goddess who holds dominion over Life and Death. Not just physical life and death but all Life and Death. Izanami is said to have transitioned to the underworld by birthing life to the Fire God. It is said that her passing was the first of what we now call physical death.

The Kojiki and the Nihonshoki reminds us that in the beginning the world was without form. It was not until Izanami and Izanagi in the Seventh Generation that land was formed. It is said that land formed when they both stood on the bridge of clouds that floats from heaven and dipped a Jeweled Spear into the unstructured volatile fluid we now call earth.

While channeling her energy I was reminded of how the water levels are rising. We are asked to reflect on our vibrations and how we treat those around us. Izanami Created Land in a formless body of water. Land is what grounded the water and created Earth. When she passed to the underworld the "Flat shapeless World" became round as it covered her like you would swaddle a new born child. she continues to reside in what we now call the core of the Earth.

She is both life and death.

She is rising, her rising is one with the rising of our sea.

Give life so that you do not become one with death.

Plant Trees and protect the natural growth of the land. Reduce the material needs of man made desires so that you can feel the vibration of the Earth and her guidance.
